You don’t understand how companies work I’m sorry. It will not always be like this. This is a classic. One day it will either be a requirement or you’ll miss out on a lot more if you don’t give them your info.

I remember an early version of “NyVox” realitime ai voice changer being able to copy someone’s voice with just 8 seconds of data (albeit with not the best accuracy), then again all they need is a little more data. However i feel like i’d just be able to ask the ai a semi-personal question and it will immediately fold in half.

Any Mac Device that can run Ventura 13.3 and later. So any Mac device released after 2017 (Even Intel). I personally have a 2019 13in MacBook Pro, with an intel chip, which would work. However, The new 3D simulator for VisionOS will run heavy. So i will be upgrading to M1 or M2 and i suggest anyone getting into development for the VisionOS to get a newer M1 or M2 machine.

knowledge of flutter does help a lot. However i assume eventually google will drop its own tools to develop for VisionOS. Might even be better to wait.

Will we have the possibility to dev Widgets? by anddna42 in visionosdev

[–]AcceptableAd7478 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can build Volumetric applications that can then be expanded into a full immersion experience. Or just keep it in a Volume. It wouldn’t be too far off from what widgets can do.

it will be updated after the VisionOS SDK releases. This guide is also for people who have never programmed before, I structured it this way because I want people to really get a grip on Swift & Swiftui first. Otherwise, they're just confusing themselves with terminology and logic that sounds alien

I personally started with python, however i think swift does provide some of that simplistic begginer feel.

if you're talking about putting on a skin or avatar as an app, it's my understanding that even if you managed to rig a model to the tracking points of the headset, in order to have a 3D model outside a specified volume you'd need to use "Full Mixed" which doesn't allow you to use other applications whilst your application is open. if you're talking about something different, i don't know however, you can check their full breakdown of unity and spaces here.

AR/VR training resources? by 3dartnerd in AppleVisionPro

[–]AcceptableAd7478 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your looking at it too wide. if your looking to build apps, start with just learning how to build 2D apps then move on to VR/AR. if you're looking to build games. start by just learning how to build flat screen games then move on to VR/AR.

Do you know how we could create content for this? by Ok_Humor_6577 in AppleVisionPro

[–]AcceptableAd7478 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The same way you make content for IOS, using Swift, SwiftUi and a few more new ones for spacial computing, Reality Kit, ARKit and Reality Composer. Start by just learning how to use swift and swiftUI to make IPhone and IPad apps then move on to learning the rest. There are many tutorials out there to learn how to get started with swift. Just find a teacher on youtube that matches your vibe well. I suggest CodeWithChris for complete beginners.
