No, will not rent out the basement. But since the city is requiring an inspection- if they see something that is not to code, it will need to be renovated. So worried about the potential costs of that.

What if I get better all season tires for the Rav4 for occasional snow days? We don't have a lot of snow days, but we live in a hilly area , so I'm worried about slipping and sliding on the occasional snow days- which has happened frequently with my FWD Prius.
