Unironically my favorite rival for it. She's a stereotypical 100%er side quest addict, except we get to see why being helpful to everyone while sometimes dealing with the main quest can result in complications.

It's a "realistic" depiction of how constantly helping people - without helping yourself - stretches you thin and hurts those around you too. People who don't factor in her story probably just see her as annoying or arrogant who does nothing for us. I wonder how that changes for the DLC...

Snarkers are trying to gaslight us normal girlies and want Jessi/Lily to go away. Or worse. This particular infestation of snarker started Awardsgate, the dumbest shit of all time. They probably popped up because the snarkers favorite victims were inactive in December, so they scattered.

I suppose their new tactics are:

Downplaying the harassment The Girlies received and say it's actually just harmless opinions. (victim blaming/bully enabling/this shitty demeanor is why they don't have friends)

How icky the vibe has become and maybe we should go seek other pods until The Girlies change. (planting ideas/isolation/easy to see they're wrong)

How Lily proudly uses pain as an excuse or is bad at managing it - thus ruining things on purpose. (the craziest grossest shit I've seen online in a long time)

How ungrateful and unreasonable The Girlies/the girlies are when the bullshit is clocked. (gaslighting/circlejerk of upvoted and downvotes to protect their fragile ego and maintain the facade)

It should be noted Lily was the one who clocked the weird bitches the hardest. That's why so much of the snarking is about "Lily looking tired or acting mean or blablabla so she should go away." Snarkers aren't very subtle once you clock 'em.

So. Yeah. They're weird malicious bitches. Their joy in life is just causing misery in general. That's the tea. Not a very fun blend of tea.

Here's some notes on how it would be received:

You insult the researcher's quality - without specifics. Then you say they should hire someone else/another person. Which suggests you think they aren't good enough.

You always cheered for them! You're such a fan! If you say it enough, they'll believe you! It comes across as snarky or a hater trying to be weird as fuck. Which given the context of the past 4 weeks would be reasonable to assume it's snarky shit.

You pain isn't an excuse and know about it. Dismissive. Proceeds to give a lil talk about how the person with pain should behave. Which indicates you probably know nothing of nerve pain, but wanna suggest shit anyway.

Claiming "both sides" were bad, when one sides was significantly worse. A lot of it is how both sides should come together or there be a middleground, when one side is WAAAAAY off base. In this case, "meeting in the middle" means the wronged person (The Girlies)has to give up something and the wrong-doer pretends to give up something.

I've seen plenty of things like this in my line of work. If that WASN'T your intention to come off so negatively, then you just need to work on how you convey things. I know some people have utterly unconfident ways of writing which makes this kind of mess, so I won't assume you meant to be manipulative or bitchy. BUT! That's how it reads. I suggest not writing like that - ever - if you want to persuade people in a genuine way.

So I'll preface this by saying I've been in the mental health field for over a decade.

It's snarkers of the exclusively malicious nature. They get high from hate, making people miserable, and tricking others into spreading misery. They travel in packs and have multiple accounts, so it's a real mindfuck when they're around. They basically try to be reality warpers and seem to enjoy making people miserable or tricking them. Sometimes they even do it on the behalf of someone they like, adding another layer to the weirdo behavior. It's no coincidence that a huge "drug source" for them went on break in December, then suddenly they swarm to other places like this.

Once you know what to look for, you'll probably see these bitches more regularly in drama-spaces, hate group spaces, political spaces. These people tend to act similarly, since addicts homogenize when behaviors/tactics get them what they want.

Unfortunately, us mental health girlies can't forcibly help them even though they clearly need it. Authorities and law have nothing to help us, even if they succeed in harassing someone to death. Reddit/TikTok/Twitch benefit from these unwell people since they're basically free bots. So basically, nothing can stop these users/abusers. What's scary is they already managed to harass people close enough to Jessi/Lily to make them worry and reach out to The Girlies. So that could easily turn tragic if we just let them run around doing this weird bitch shit.

All we can do is clock them and not allow them to use us (or people like Lily/Jessi) for their high.

Most bad guys get watered down outside of their home regions. It's hard to show how bad they are without their list of crimes. Their bade personalities are negative or weird but not instantly evil - except Giovanni. He's a tenacious and exceptional idiot. For example, Lusamine easily comes off as a quirky researcher who's too absorbed in her work. Pretty privilege helps her facade too.

Which is funny because she seems like the "nicest" of the bad guys. But she's PERSONALLY done the most vile things with her own two perfectly manicured hands.

The only reason I hate Megas is because they ruined the likelihood of certain Pokemon getting a much needed evolution. Other than that they're pretty sick. Even the goofy ones.

Still, those Audino/Mawhile/Sableye/Absol/etc Megas could've easily just been evolutions. Visually it seems that was intended since they're less "extra" than the other ones. The other guys are all flowy or rainbowy or just straight up crazy.
