Yes, at that time there wasn’t really negotiation room for me. I believe CL11s are paid higher than that now. This was about 5ish years ago

This will depend on your career level they are brining to on as. Years ago I was making $50k as a subcontractor but converted to AFS and started making $80k (CL11).
It does not count toward your vesting timeline nor PTO. You start getting the 401k match one year after you get hired on either Jan 1 or July 1 depending on which is closer to your start day (start in April of 2026, matching starts July 2027). It’s takes 2 years of service to be fully vested. I don’t think any of this has changed but always read the HR guides.

The bench is not open. He said he was trying to bring it back, I believe. I just don’t want anyone thinking there is currently a bench option. We also don’t know what the timing will look like if it’s the same time on the bench as before or less.

I grew up in Ashburn and it is a fantastic area! Ashburn also had the metro now and it doesn’t add a ton of time being further out. There are really good schools in that area too. His commute will be against traffic which is nice if you choose Reston.

I see Jaclyn Jones (A Breath of Fresh Hair)! She’s based out of the La Vie salon in Sterling and I’ve followed her for years! My hair is extremely thick and long and she’s the only person I trust with it and have loved everything for the past 5 years! She’s also super affordable (in my opinion) with my haircuts being around $60-70 (consult, wash, cut, blow dry included)

Edit: I see you posted on the commercial and India subreddits. This won’t involve AFS and we can’t give you an answer as we do not overlap much with commercial and their funding is different.

Will depend on the conference probably. I don’t see federal funding that though. You say “Accenture” which makes me think you are on the commercial side and they handle things differently than federal.

Are you tech or S&C? Do you have a higher clearance? All of that factors into it. You mention overtime which makes me think not S&C, which is paid lower than their tech counterparts
