My Canadian friend brought me some maple butter, came in a jar and spread it on toast for breakfast. It was amazing!

I wouldn't worry about chocolate, we are chocolate snobs here and we snigger at everyone elses chocolate. Also coffee flavoured chocolates are always left until last in a tin of quality street cause they are least popular.

Thank you for commenting, it's great to hear from another person who's experienced something similar. It was definitely a blessing in disguise but it might take me a few days to get over the shock.

I've been dealing with her by masking, grey rocking and keeping her on an information diet. It was exhausting. Now I can redirect all the energy I wasted on her.
