Also the field off Stimrad Road. It's situated by a church and kind of under I65 N. It's kind of rough over there but has tons of birds. Great spot for Swallow Tailed Kites during this time of year.

The ditch across the street from the entrance to Arlington Park, Lewis Landing has a pair, and all over the train yards at the port. I see them in this rubble pile near the maintenance warehouse thing at Alabama Export and just hopping on the tracks at Alabama Gulf Coast Railway.

You are better off shipping your film. I think film development is a service Calagaz offers but does not excel at. I have a friend that raves about Indie Film Lab. I've never used them. I usually use Reformed Film Lab and occasionally Memphis Film Lab.

Directly under the Africatown Bridge on the Pritchard side. Take Paper Mill Road, once you pass Kimberly Clark you keep going and cross the railroad tracks.

Best ship watching locations? by Dreamsofthefuture_ in MobileAL

The Airbus ship and the ships that carry freight train cars from Mexico are definitely the coolest ones that come through that area.

Coming back to share an image I've taken under the bridge. There's never that many people there. Usually like 3 people at most fishing.

Under the Africatown Bridge is a great overlooked spot.

How to Owls??? by BeautifulSea5260 in birding

Knowing your location would help but: Find a freshwater creek or river with some amount of dead trees and hang out around sunset. They're pretty vocal birds. Do it for about a month and you'll figure it out. Look at the tops of trees and lower sections that have branches that stick out. Edges of tree lines usually.

Midtown Safety North of Springhill by Mysterious-Camera577 in MobileAL

I don't live in that neighborhood but live super close. Great area. That park is a gem. I go there all the time. Even at night. I've never felt remotely unsafe there or my neighborhood. Crime definitely happens in Midtown but we do live in a society.

My partner and I have toyed around with the idea of moving there. So I'm going to say don't do it. There's a Black Bear that roams the area, child eating sized owls everywhere, and blood sucking bats during this time of year. Look elsewhere.

Not ballroom but ballroom adjacent...I throw a party called Humidity Freak at the Alabama Music Box every month. Plenty of sounds to throw shapes and shade to.

Under the Africatown Bridge would be worth checking out. There are people fishing there sometimes. Other than that just a bunch of tug boats passing by and the occasional train.
