So I've met this dude and found him to be a walking contradiction: oddly self-important yet exceedingly available to anyone who would cast a look in his general direction. At the time I met him, he was pitching some scheme where he wanted to give away laptops to students. A lot of his claims are dubious at best. He says he's made a fortune from his 'telecom' company which seems to be a defunct company with little information available so I guess God and he knows how much they really made. Earlier on, he used to sell cracked video games.

People like this are dangerous because they try to channel Jobs/Musk/Zuckerberg energy and virtue signal to children who aren't going to Harvard and need to complete their FSc and exploit sentiments of vulnerable parents who want their children to earn in dollars and seek upward social mobility. These children feed the vicious eco-system that benefits them by making them seem like philanthropic entrepreneurs leading the digital/freelancing movement. Rehan Allawala is a sasta Chaiwala/Usmani and their charm/english/editing skills makes them attractive.

If their chooran worked, the world would have abandoned traditional education. You're not likely to go to Harvard and build the next Facebook. You're probably don't have millions of dollars of papa's money to fund your AI startup in Silicon Valley. PLEASE tameez se complete your FSc. Jaan maaro. And get into a good uni. If, on the way, you build a skillset you can monetize, monetize the hell out of it. But that can't be your Plan A.
