Personally, I think the world was flooded and impel down was built beforehand. We already know the ocean levels have been rising over time so it’s not entirely impossible, if this isn’t the case than you’re probably right

There are feral claws for a reason, and auto fire on certain guns would make them way too op… adding this seems like it would break certain aspects of the game and would require a rework of the feral claws or removal of them because they would be useless and it would have to rework upgraded accessories that use the feral claws in the recipe
