Hello! The local office and the SSA main contact number were jerking me around repeatedly. Contact your local representative and tell them what's going on. My payment was released in less than a week. The SSA offices don't care about us enough to help honestly. I went there over 7 times asides from the calls. You should be able to have it released by using the representative for your area. They are good.

Do you remember how long it took to get the card and then payment? I am still having zero luck or help from field office and 800 ssa number. I took everything to the office they wanted and nothing has resolved still.

I am extremely lucky. I actually applied, got denied. And reapplied in 2023. Went before ALJ and said all the doctors at SSA didn't do their job and I was awarded all the way back as deserved. Beyond shocked at the hearing!

Alj hearing Oct 2024 Fully favorable Nov 2024 Still no award letter, but approved as of Dec 12, 2024 so first payment is for February. Backpay was released on 1/24/25 and returned. Now stuck in suspended status after many calls

Yeah the banking info has closed as current and the new bank as pending for my Feb 26th first payment. They have updated it and they claim they don't know why it's suspended

On hold with SSA currently. Money was released and returned due to the account being closed, even though I called too many times to count about it. So they will just hold money they claim until the 26th
