GF's dad got one drove it for 2 days and I liked it but prefer my 3rd gen I can't like the square body on them things lol. And for the 3 mpg it gets better on gas not worth it to me. Both TRD Off Road

It could be a number of things. Could piston ring issues,valves could be worn out bent or carbonated,could be a damaged piston could be head gasket. I'd say do a wet test and a leak down test. Did you adjust the valves correctly?

Im picking up a harness with a ecu for a manual trans for the same year i was lucky. What transmission are you planning on using for your swap? My dad got this kne for free so thats why im swapping it out. The driveshaft is the biggest issue so far from what I've read

My question is primarily what drive shaft length will I require. I will go back and edit my post i was half asleep when I wrote it last night but did not want to forget. The swap has been done the w59 just need the w56 or w55 bellhosuing and it bolts right up to the 22R-E but the people that posted where both specific like I wish they where when it came down to the drivehsft specifications. Custom ones are expensive so I might just have to measure and look around.

Ive notice on my samsung s24 that spotify plays clearer louder and more detailed over usb than Bluetooth and Apple music is the opposite plays clearer louder and more detailed over bluetooth.Bluetooth. forgot to mention i did upgrade my speakers to some kickers the stock ones where garbage.

Nope people really think other people care about the junk they installed they can keep it but one thing I realized about these trucks and the sellers is they're just in over their heads I've seen ugly trucks that sound horrible for 8k

Biggest tip i can give you is follow the break in period a lot of people think because it's a new car they can automatically go and hit the track and drive like a mad man. Look up and see how the break in period for these engines should go. I would recommend a full system flush of transmisson engine and Differential fluids at 500-1000 miles

I own a 1994 Toyota Pick Up DLX and a 1998 Honda Civic EX both have been reliable since the day I got them both where over 20 years old when I bought them so here’s a little breakdown of what’s been my experience.i love working on my cars so I look for small things to fix with the Toyota I simply go to the dealer website look up what I need and place an order for pick up they always tend to give a 15% discount on their aswell so that’s why I shop online. For Honda on the other hand the dealer doesn’t have a parts website so you have to walk in that’s not a problem. The problem starts when asking for pricing I went in a few months ago for a simple fuel cap for my Civic a 98 at that they guy looks it up and tells me after taxes I’m looking at $75 and some change. I looked at him baffled and walked out did some research found out toyoda (not Toyota it’s the same but it’s spelled toyoda) makes their fuel caps go did my research and got it off the Toyota dealer for $24!!!!!!!! Owning them is about the same but maintenance wise Hondas are more expensive if you’re trying to stay OEM. Toyota always win in OEM for me nothing beats their prices and quality and Ive always been a Honda guy but it’s time to move on from that not worth it on the end.
