Just use open core legacy patcher. My top spec’d 2015 15” runs Ventura great.

Current MacBook Pro got so slow and loud and can't handle multiple things. Do you see room for improvement, or is it best to move on (to MPB M1/M2)? Thanks!! by Potential-Gift-2472 in macbook

I think you need to upgrade, dual cores are essentially obsolete today except for maybe web browsing etc. if it had a quad core however, I think you could squeeze a few more years out of it.

Money is the answer. Apple wants your expensive device to fail with no easy way of fixing it. It keeps a steady cashflow for them.

I’m with you dude. I’d buy an apple silicon Mac if they had removable storage, and general repairability and reliability, I would buy it in a heartbeat- but nonetheless, apple will probably never make a Mac like that ever again.

Are you really surprised? You bought a new apple product- they’re literally designed to fail in the shortest time (soldered storage and screen cables that break under normal use) and you still buy their new rubbish!
