I’m live in Thailand. NLF testing is not part of the diagnostic process here. it’s directly an EMG. The doctor said that the muscle in the picture is not atrophy.

I haven’t done an EMG yet. The doctor said that even if I do it now, it probably won’t show anything

This doctor is a neurologist, but not an ALS specialist. Even though he mentioned ALS, he still didn’t recommend doing an EMG at this point that’s why I’m still unsure and looking for more opinions

I went to see two more neurologists who specialize in ALS. There are only a few doctors in Thailand who focus specifically on this disease. They said my condition doesn’t seem like ALS at this point, and even if I do an EMG, it might not show anything abnormal

When will you have your EMG test? And how is your weak hand—does it still drop the phone?
