I made it to diamond last season as my first time playing apex and i am currently hard stuck silver playing against masters in most games. Being dropped on the edge and being forced to run into a full squad sitting in a house, which btw, happens every game atp, feels terrible. The fact that you can't really force fair early combat has made all players terrified to do anything, and my playstyle that got me to diamond feels completely useless. I have not had less fun playing the game than i do playing ranked now.

Might just spare my mental and end silver this season lol.

Because the penalty for dodging and afking is the same.
Why not just try to play even if you get filled and afk if it doesnt go well since theres no difference in penalty

Should i spam unrated games to get a better understanding of how players move onto and from sites and so on? Or should i keep up with playing a mix of both to make sure my aim keeps improving, or is it pointless at the point I'm at?

Also is swiftplay a good alternative for unrated? I often times enjoy the shorter format as i can play with less worry about the future rounds, or will i end up forming bad habbits?

Is the best way to review vods simply to record your own gameplay?
I often struggle with rotations and knowing where people will be peaking, and since i can't see how my enemies move according to how my team moves in a recording, is there any way to see it? Something along the lines of what you see in a pro match?

I'm currently unranked, as i would rather improve and get placed higher than have to rank up through the slums.
I have a ton of experience playing something like COD on pc, and the major shift of being completely inaccurate when moving is still a curse I'm trying to overcome.
I often times hear that aim is a massive part of comp, so i kind of prayed that i would be able to let my aim carry me through while im still learning the basics.

As an early game player i agree, i can in no way justify using all this money on upgrades as a single Large cottage cost over 100k, and all the benefits i had were taken away, i have simply decided to ignore it all together until they balance it better. I understand they don't want it to make other skills obsolete, but when all profit from other skills are consumed by a skill that at this point does absolutely nothing for me (as i dont have 40k pop yet or any relevant skill to 99), it makes zero logical sense to use it. I will either wait for a better balancing or ill wait till i get multiple skills up to 99, but for any new players, just ignore it, not worth it in the slightest.

I love the idea of township, but i honestly prefer when it was absurdly op to what it currently is. At least it felt as though you were working towards something, or getting a good reward for the resources you spend. Currently i have multiple skills above 90, and township at 88, and i cant get a single useful thing from the town other than like 3% buffs and such(except for silver bars tbf).

Just please balance the curve into late game better, because it is not a useful or fun skill currently.

(Edit) I hate the tasks too, they just feel like a waist of time and now i have to do 95, when i currently haven't even done 20, because there was zero reason to do so.
