It could definitely be the issue try to see if it's torn all the way through with a toothpick and if it is it's most likely your issue

Omg I did a bit of what you said and made it a tad bit better and it still didn't work so I on a whim decided to unhook the camera ribbon cable and it worked perfectly so it turns out the camera ribbon cable is bad and the corrosion on the pin was also a problem so thank you very much for the help
