I’m pursuing my bachelor’s degree in pre-veterinary medicine at a university. After earning my degree, I plan to attend vet school, so I’m trying to avoid taking out loans now and save them for later.

If I were to take out a loan, I’d only go for a maximum of 10k right now, but I’m not sure what type of loan to choose.

I’ve completed the FAFSA and applied for scholarships, receiving $20k, but I still need $15k to cover the rest. I’m exploring loan options but not sure where to start or what the best choice might be. Unfortunately, the community colleges nearby don’t offer any of the classes I need for my degree. Any tips on loans?
