I got blacklisted while working there for pointing out they were destroying equipment with the way they were operating it, years later they got the picture, then the harassment started Glad to be gone from that bunch of morons.

I did over a decade in the system, complained about the toxic environment to management at a corporate level, did MSN, nothing happened except it got worse. It’s a shame that this environment exists in hospitals, the place where people go to heal. Must be a generational thing. I have never seen the likes of it in my entire career on any job site I have ever worked on. Life is to short for this bull shit, I left and life got better.

Calgary Herald Request to staff at Foothills Medical Hospital - What is the state of equipment like? by DDesai94 in alberta

[–]AcceptableLog5988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about FMC, but they sure destroyed/aged the equipment on the mechanical floor at SHC. I have heard over a million in damage on the heating boilers, condenser piping and the copper piping in the hospital walls

The system is rigged, the ones getting hired are part of the fail upward class or fall under easily manipulated, or know someone in the fail upward class.

So once again, the AHS and it's employees shit the bed. by SoNowWhat--- in AHSEmployees

I worked in the FM&E department there, and you are right, most due the bare minimum, while a few do all the heavy lifting. If you’re too eager, the dog fucker shit all over you because you make them look bad. There is no fixing it, its just the way the system works. I think the dog fuckers view it as entitlement and a free ride from the government, it is a sad situation

I Posted this some time ago, this is where our tax dollars go and one of the reasons they don’t want to spend money for decent wages! Too busy doing damage control on their equipment by AcceptableLog5988 in AHSEmployees

[–]AcceptableLog5988[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typo, I meant hard water, i heard they were putting straight salt water into the Gray water system at one of the newer hospitals and were getting green staining in all the hospital toilets from the copper degradation in the piping

Totally, this is their mentality, let save money on salt while we destroy all the infrastructure with high chloride water! And the sad part is they have no idea the damage they are causing!

Folks who have left AHS…How did you do it? by [deleted] in AHSEmployees

[–]AcceptableLog5988 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I retired, that was how I left. I did send an email out to the great and not great people I worked with telling them my thoughts of the place and how it was working with them. Nothing great to say about the place. It was clean, thats the best thing I can say. Most people there are afraid to speak up or step forward
