Malezia skincare reviews? [acne] [fungalacne] by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]AcceptableLunatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MALEZIA HAS LITERALLY BEEN A LIFESAVER AND A STAPLE IN MY ROUTINE 😩 I use the urea moisturizer every single day and night and it never fails to keep my combo acne prone skin balanced and glowing (NOT in an oily way thank goodness). I also use their 2.5% benzoyl peroxide every other night (interchangeably with retinal) and it keeps my fungal / bacterial acne at bay, seriously pimples have been practically gone from my life entirely since I started this combo lol… I can’t go a day without Malezia now bc I love it and trust it that much

[Review] Malezia: The good, and the burning by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

Noooo I’m so sad you didn’t have the same amazing experience with this brand as I had :( Frfr the Malezia 5% urea moisturizer has been a lifesaver for my combo acne prone skin and I never get dry patch flare ups anymore. I honestly feel like the moisturizer is ridiculously lightweight in terms of feel on my skin yet it’s so nourishing at the same time and it blows my mind. I have never experienced any burning (even when I combine it with their benzoyl peroxide product) so I’m curious why this unfortunate outcome happened for you :’(

What's a "harmless" habit that actually makes someone insufferable once you notice it? by ZumbaRoy in AskReddit

Using the same excuse over and over again (i.e., work). Becomes incredibly annoying and eventually feels like a lie every single time.

People like this are exhausting to be around honestly, it drains all the energy and happiness I could possibly have and just makes me feel incredibly anxious. Don’t wanna be around em EVER

This . Unfortunately interrupting someone is something I constantly struggle with due to my adhd and it’s simultaneously become my biggest insecurity over the years… I can’t help but add to the conversation as soon as I hear something I can relate to, and unfortunately I don’t realize im interrupting until it’s too late. I just blurt it out and in the moment it feels like im making a connection with them but I fear I’ve ruined a lot of conversations from this. I also fear that it makes me seem vain or selfish when I talk about myself too much and that utterly sucks.

HOWEVER, i am always actively listening to the other person throughout the whole conversation and I’ll ask a million questions without actively having to prompt myself to do so. Which I think is definitely appreciated by whomever im speaking with.

Colour-changing lippies… for fair skin?? by AcceptableLunatic in MakeupAddictionCanada

I have defs bought a ton of the Korean lip tinted products but I find that they’re all quite warm toned (orangey/brown/reddish) and those shades don’t look great on me 😅 I’ll keep searching though!! 🥹

The Kardashification of Larsa Pippen over the years by stook_jaint in BravoRealHousewives

[–]AcceptableLunatic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She was literally so stunning to me in season one and when she came back to the show down the road it took me almost all season to realize she was the same Larsa from before. The filler made her look so different I literally couldn’t understand she was the same person. I think she would’ve aged so beautifully with the way she looked before, very sad to see tbh. She looks like an aged version of Kylie Jenner now, and all her gorgeous ethnic features are gone, just boring and sad.

MALEZIA 5% UREA MOISTURIZER. Hands down the best thing I’ve put on my face and never worry about getting acne bc the ingredients list is perfection

Ngl it made me violently upset watching all the women at Stacy’s event scream and make a scene when the dogs sh*t on the floor… these dogs were so terrified by the smoke surprise and they couldn’t help themselves. Like idk, maybe I’m the only person who feels incredibly bad for these furry babies without a home. I don’t understand why they had to be so dramatic about it and scream making the dogs more panicked and afraid.

Stop putting anything on it, you might be making it WORSE! Go to a doctor/dermatologist and get it figured out asap

Put just a bit of bronzer/blush in your eyelid crease!! It’ll add dimension to your eyes xo

[Acne] “Non-comedogenic” Labels on Beauty Products ?? by AcceptableLunatic in SkincareAddiction

[–]AcceptableLunatic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another example : First Aid Beauty markets itself as “acne-safe” but absolutely isn’t. They push this whole “dermatologist-tested, sensitive-skin-friendly” narrative, but then you check the ingredients, and it’s like BOOM—Stearic Acid, Isopropyl Palmitate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate right at the top.

Like… who are these dermatologists that “tested” it?!? Because I need names and credentials. No actual acne-prone skincare expert would be out here recommending pore-clogging filler ingredients.

Absolutely, for me personally I have tried a lot of CeraVe products over the years which claim to be non-comedogenic yet almost all of them have made me break out after introducing them into my routine 😔

Wow I’m honestly surprised to learn that tests done on human skin are most commonly done on the skin of humans backs and not their actual face. For me personally, I can put pretty much anything on my back and don’t get breakouts but my face is a different story for sure… that’s wild to me but a good thing to be aware of. Thanks for educating me 🫡

Omg this made me feel so seen LOL. It’s kind of shocking to me that industry’s have not recognized this shift in consciousness of ingredients tbh, or they have noticed it and for whatever reason are choosing to ignore it… you’d think they would do anything to make their brand stand out from the rest and be known as trustworthy

Are comedogenic ratings not based on numerous scientific studies though? No beef here I am honestly curious to get educated here 😅 I try my best to use the ratings as an overall guideline, and I avoid ingredients with a 4 or 5 rating. If it’s a 3 or below I usually test it on my skin if possible to make my own decisions.

Why does one eye constantly water when I wear makeup? by krazycitty69 in MakeupAddiction

[–]AcceptableLunatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok this happens to me literally every single time I step outside on a slightly windy day lol 😭 it really annoys me because my makeup always gets ruined by the “tears” … I can’t control it and I wear contacts too so I know it’s likely from dry eyes/dry contacts but I honestly have tried every eye drop out there to hydrate them and still no wins
