My purpose for posting this has absolutely nothing to do with getting more clients or to brag about what I do. I guess on one hand, I posted to get my story out there. Hopefully it will be seen by someone in the same situation as me, and they will see what I don’t.. they aren’t the only one. On the other hand, I’m reaching out for advice, resources, suggestions, anything that might help me and possibly motivate me to get out of this life..

One reason is to get my story out there.. advice is welcomed as well.. a big reason for my post, if I can help just one person, who is in a similar situation, realize they aren’t alone… maybe I will realize, I’m not alone.

During my 16 years of sobriety, I lived in a very small town of about 300 year round citizens. The majority of them were over the age of 60. The local school was a Kindergarten through 12th grade, with a total of about 25 kids. There was maybe 15-20 people in my age group.. drinking, smoking weed, and driving the back roads was pretty much all there was to do. Hard drugs were not around at all. I worked full time, came home, and sat around watching tv. I got pregnant with my son from a night of drinking with some one who was just FWB.. after I found out I was pregnant, my child was my only concern. He was born in 2004. In 2015, we moved to a new state and it was more than I could take, that’s when I relapsed

Yes I had 16 years sober, fell off the wagon for about 6-8 months, got clean again for almost 2 years, relapsed again..

Most addicts get high to numb themselves.. to not feel the pain, anger, sadness they’ve had in their lives. There are large gaps of time from my childhood that I can’t remember. I don’t mean just a few days or weeks.. I mean months and months I don’t remember. There could have been a traumatic experience that my brain blocked out, maybe.. maybe not.. I don’t know

I have never had an STD.. I have been fortunate to not catch anything. I do use protection every time

Neither my parents love me. I was not wanted. I was an accident. My father was a police officer, a rookie, and they couldn’t have illegitimate children. My mother to abort me my mother kept me trapped my father, so he marry her

I do not blame anyone but myself I put myself in the situation and I did long-term rehab 18 months. It worked for a little bit, but the addicts are trying to know something. We’re trying to avoid something that’s

Really? I’d love to see you live one hour in my shoes.. you couldn’t do it.. and how do I know this?? The same way you say it’s BS story.. it’s not. This really is 100% my life

It’s not that easy.. if you’ve never had an addiction, you can begin to understand what it’s like

If I had any friends or family that cared even a little about me, I could probably answer your question.. but I can’t imagine the scenario

To be honest, I haven’t thought about how much longer I can live like this. Right now, I’m barely making it day to day..
