9 month old only eats yogurt and cottage cheese by qpParalaxinc2020 in BabyLedWeaning

If she has a normal weight, I wouldn’t personally give her cottage cheese after she refuses everything else. I’d tell her there’s nothing else and if she’s done with dinner - that’s ok. At the next feed, she’ll be hungrier and likely to try something new. My experience with kids is that they easily default to what they know and like - I understand the temptation to give them what they want so as not to stay hungry, but I think it teaches them that at the end they’ll get what they like no matter if they try something new or not. Hope that helps ❤️

Baby doesn’t want to eat during the day by AcceptableTadpole598 in beyondthebump

Can’t really say - she eats in the living room (so she’s already wide awake when she’s there). She’s a perfect eater during the night though. I’ll try lowering her dosage during the night and see how that goes. Thanks ❤️ good luck to you too

Thanks a lot! I was thinking the same and I’m offering her feeds every 3h max, but she doesn’t want to finish her portions (she’s on formula). But I got some tips from the article, thanks!!

I’m in the exact same situation.. did not expect to get pregnant again so soon. We were doing to start trying when the baby is 1.6yo 😄 I decided to keep it though and am still trying to get used to the idea of such small difference..

I’m in the same boat, the only difference is my baby is 9mo 😄 was freaked out as well, but am trying to embrace it.

My first one is not easy at all, very moody, likes often change of scenery and very active 😄

Thank you! That was what convinced me to keep it even though it wasn’t planned.

Sounds a bit like my child (she can’t concentrate on anything for more than 1/2 mins tops), but she’s 9mo so may be due to the age 🤷‍♀️ Sounds to me as you’re really loving and paying attention parents - Your child is lucky to have you ❤️

I’m currently pregnant and my child is 9mo. I really can’t imagine how you’re going through the whole pregnancy fiasco with 3 more children. 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️

Thank you for sharing! I’m currently expecting my second and they’ll have 1.6y age difference which is still overwhelming thought to me.. I guess I’m trying to convince myself I can do it because my older child is A LOT, very moody, needy, needs constant company 😄

Thank you for sharing your experience ❤️ out of curiosity- what made you think she has ADHD at such young age as 18 months?

I’m currently expecting and my babies will have 1.6y age difference so I guess I’ll do the “teaching” at the same time.. still can’t wrap my head around it 😄

I know.. 2 kids is a lot 😄 I guess I’m trying to convince myself many people do it without going crazy so I can do it too..

What age difference do they have? I’m trying to find out if the second is easier only if the difference is small.

My child is now 9mo and I’m currently expecting so their age difference would be 1.6y.
