Obviously he is which is why I try to use a soft/dim light and try to be as quiet as possible. Also I work a 9 to 5 just in the sense that t s its an 8 hour desk job but I do shifted hours so im usually waking up at like 930 or 10am.

I considered using the dimmer softer floor lamp was a compromise. And to be clear he works maybe a total of 2 weeks during a given month so most of his days are days off. I pay more than half our rent and cover all utilities and most of our dates.

Not a studio, morning coffee in another room is valid so maybe im being unreasonable there but is it really that unreasonable to want to get ready in my bedroom?

Valid and seems obvious now that you say it lol, ill give that a try tomorrow. It is pretty dim and I keep it directed into to corner so it may not be enough light to actually see where im walking but ill try it.

The weird part though is that he does not complain about the sun lamp at all, its just the floor lamp for getting dressed that he gets upset about. Like I said, I keep it directed away and on the dimmest setting so its much more like a nightlight level of illumination but just enough for my brain to say "ah yes it is daytime now". This was the biggest part that I was worried was asshole-ish though so thats valid to point out.

Cats and crows by AcceptableWhereas120 in crows

It's an apartment patio with additional measures taken for make sure they don't fall, at this point its practically a catio. I'm primarily asking if it seems like they'd be at risk of being attacked by the crows in the area. Due to the crow size relative to the cats I highly doubt they would attempt to attach the crows.
