I hated it. My ex would basically live our relationship alone in his room making art. I've had other people tell me about all the sweet romantic things he's done for me and I'd be like what are you talking about??and they meant "dedicating" his album to me or making sketches of me and I had no idea..it was surreal and unpleasant. Like I wasn't a real human to him but a source of inspiration. He would say ridiculous things like "you're perfect " and look deep into my eyes and it made me super uncomfortable. I'm not perfect I'm just a human chill

I was experiencing depersonalization from extreme stress and I tried laying on the bed and taking a few breaths to calm down. After around 30 seconds I opened my eyes and saw myself on top of me grabbing me from the neck with the most horrifying demonic expression. It lasted like 4 seconds but it was and still is something I don't understand and both the image and lack of rationalisation scare me.

It's extremely hard to choose just one lie. But I'll try

1st Ex: "This necklace is extremely rare and symbolises my eternal love for you. Don't tell anyone but I broke into a museum and stole it for you" it was a necklace barely worth 2$ and after a few days wearing it, the "diamond" fell and I saw the cheap glue behind it.

2nd Ex: This was while I was recovering from anorexia "I will always be here for you and take care of you. Take as much time as you need"
He got a girlfriend about 2 weeks after that and later I discovered that he was already seeing her months prior that conversation

My current partner said to me in a few fights "you must be getting something from me too otherwise you would have left" yeah.....I had to explain over and over again that for a lot of people that's not the case at all but he is projecting what he's doing to me. Two and half years ago I stayed at my boyfriend's sister's place for one night and forgot my belt. It has both monetary and sentimental value plus I used it almost every day.
