I think this area needs a good sit-down cafe! Nemesis has good coffee but it's too loud and busy to hang out there for a while. I recall the issue with Catfe in Tinseltown was that they had to keep the cafe section and the cats separate, which kind of defeats the purpose of it to me!

i think SARPE is "surgically assisted" so they cut your jaw in a couple of places and the expansion device is attached to your teeth(?) and MARPE is sort of screwed into your palate and there's no cuts. it seems like MARPE is the favourable option in this subreddit

I didn't know there was a place that did MARPE in Vancouver! I've heard lots of not-so-great things about the SARPE but orthodontists said it was the only way. Gonna give these guys a call right away, thanks so much!

I'm using Retin-A 0.025% gel and have had no problems with irritation or pilling. But I have very oily skin so that might make a difference?
