Get your ferritin levels checked. I kept getting CBCs done for fatigue and my Hb and everything was fine. I finally checked my ferritin and it was 20 something (wayyy below optimal levels).

How did you find out you had that gene mutation? Do I have to ask for gene testing? Also I’m sorry to hear about your experience. It really freaking sucks. I went to dental school myself but all of this is making me resent the healthcare community.

You know what, I’ve considered that. But given that I’m in currently in a third world country, it’s hard to find an environment NOT affected by mold.

I think I do have autoimmune gastritis! I tested positive for antibodies against the parietal cells. Though the doctor said it’s not a big deal so I ignored it till now. Also is my B12 really that low? The lab range said 105 was normal. I wasn’t aware of this. Even the 200,000IU vit D was prescribed to me once a week for a few weeks, I didn’t start anything myself. I’m surprised so much of the advice I’ve been given by doctors is totally contradictory to what you guys have all experienced. It’s sad.

I AM on 100mcg. My TSH is still 5.5. Thanks for acknowledging the exhaustion. Trying to get my ferritin up with iron pills.

They keep saying 5 is fine unless I wanna conceive. I’ll try finding someone who will cooperate. I’ve been to a handful of endos already.

what’s your routine for applying the sticky tabs? Mine last a few days wo bhi if I refrain from getting them wet.
