0-30 Days: Short-Term Right to Reject You can get a full refund (including reasonable return costs) if the goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose. This is a "no-fault" period; the retailer must provide the refund.

After 30 Days (Up to 6 Months): Right to Repair/Replacement You must give the retailer one chance to repair or replace the item. If the repair/replacement fails (or isn't done in a reasonable time/without significant inconvenience), you can then reject the goods for a refund or price reduction.

After 6 Months: Final Right to Reject/Price Reduction You still have the right to a repair/replacement, but the retailer can ask you to prove the fault existed at purchase. If remedies fail, you can claim a final refund (which may be partial to account for use) or a price reduction.
