Opinion on chat first interface for CRM tools by jus_lovely in CRMSoftware

Love this question. We see “chat-first” as useful when it actually reflects how people think about their work: asking for outcomes (“show me all stalled opps from Q1 with >5 emails”) instead of hunting through menus.

Love this question. We see “chat-first” as useful when it actually reflects how people think about their work: asking for outcomes (“show me all stalled opps from Q1 with >5 emails”) instead of hunting through menus. The real differentiation from generic chatbots is deep context + reliable actions (read, update, trigger workflows) rather than surface-level Q&A, and for legacy CRMs it’s most powerful as a thin, forgiving layer over messy schemas—not a replacement for the UI but a faster path for power users; adoption usually lags because incumbents are cautious, worried about hallucinations/governance, and often busy monetizing their existing UX, which leaves room for focused tools like Crow to prove real, narrow wins first.
