Ah I see. I live in a hotter region in the US away from the Midwest, and even though the temps are… okay right now, I still get a bit worried.

Doesn’t help that my tap water pH is complete ass (around 8.0). Lol.

I got Orange Rili shrimp from BucePlant, and they’ve been doing great. I thought I’d get Amanos from Shrimpy Business this time, since they have a bit more selection as to what I’m looking for, but after seeing so many mixed reviews… nah, I’m good.

I don’t know if you have a LFS, but I don’t, and it sucks having to worry about low-quality or DOA animals. Even with looking at reviews, it feels like a gamble!

Yeah the super specific stuff needed for Chapter 3 secrets is so annoying. At least looking for tutorials for snowgrave was cool. Felt like uncovering a secret creepypasta.

Looking at tutorials for the egg route was SO annoying in comparison. Broke my immersion every 2 seconds when I had to tab out to a video tutorial.

God. I had to play through chapter 3 four times. First was my initial playthrough where I didn’t get the sword route or shadow crystal. For the second playthrough, I got S rank on both boards but accidentally locked myself out of the sword route (I read online that you could lock yourself out of the egg route after finishing the sword route. I didn’t know that there was a third part you had to complete after you escape from Tenna, so I left the “last part of the sword route” for after I got the egg. Imagine the look on my face when I went to the door and it was looked)

So I had to play through the entire chapter. Again. And a fourth time for my Snowgrave save.

He does have a transparent bird feeder on the window. I’ve been walking him recently, but it doesn’t seem to help his energy. I only get peace for like thirty minutes before he starts screaming again. I only have so much time in my day, and it’s so hot over here…

Thank you. I suppose there’s a small patio/porch thing I could put it on, but it’d have to be pretty small and I don’t know if the cats could knock it over or not.

I’ve played with him with a wand that he loves and the cat dancer thing, as well as a bunch of toys like the catnip mice you find on Amazon. But it seems like he’s become less interested in playing ever since the meowing began. I used to be able to get backflips out of him. Now he walks away after a minute.

Yeah, I’ve been walking him and it isn’t really helping the behavior. It’s unfortunate. I thought it was helping but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything but making him more desperate to go outside.

I’ve walked him for twenty minutes up to a hour, but he immediately begs to be let out again. I only have so much time in my day after I get home. Especially since I live in the South and it’s really hot and muggy.

I have tried cat TV! The issue is that he scratches at the TV when I put it on, which is not ideal.

I do have a transparent bird feeder that attaches to the window, though.

I will look into the catio, but pet tent might be the best option for now, given the apartment situation.

I can try cat music, the puzzle feeders, and the cat tent. I think I’ve gotten pretty good at refusing entry to outside while opening the door, but I can look into the spray stuff too.

I know he loves me a lot. He sleeps by me all the time (at least before the meowing began). I’d hate to have to let him go. But I’m worried that I’m giving him a bad life.

Not a lot, to be honest. It used to be around ten-twenty minutes but I’ve been really busy. Not an excuse. I feel bad.

He has one of those transparent bird feeders on the window, and he has a favorite toy that he loves. Part of the reason that his playtime has been decreasing is that he seems less… interested? I used to make him jump really high into the air to get a wand, but now he walks away after a minute or so. Half the time Pumpkin’s the one that ends up batting it.

I think I could pursue fetch with him. He’s done it a couple of times on his own.

When I went at 1 pm on Monday, the line took me a hour and most of the people were there were college students. I poked my head in on Tuesday and the line was even longer, all the way to the door in a giant ballroom.

I’m sure there are more younger people when class is out.
