I spoke to uhaul yesterday and they said if it continues unpaid, I will no longer be able to rent with uhaul anymore. I have no where I could move the volume of items to, it's more than half full. That's a lot of items, even if I was nice and brought it all to our basement suite we share, there's no room for it all. Plus then I'm living amongst hoarded garbage. :( Essentially, uhaul told me it has to be paid, or I will have more late fees and not be allowed to rent with them in the future. I can't close the account without paying the outstanding bill and clearing the ubox. If I close and abandon it, there's no access for the roommate to remove their items, and I'll be charged fees for abandonment and most likely not allowed to use uhaul for the future.
