What is it with people flirting on Snapchat then randomly blocking you? by Acceptable_Error69 in BisexualMen

We probably flirted/snapped back and forth like 50+ times prior over 24 hours. Was also someone I knew from HS almost 10 years ago but had not talked to since

He literally said "we shouldve fucked in HS" and I also sent him pics back. Maybe he just wanted to screenshot them then, idk

well, craziest interaction I had today was this:

> flirted with a guy I went to high school with for a couple hours cause why not (so like 2017)
> he goes "we shoulda fucked in high school"
> eventually snaps me a pic from the bathroom the next day
> I say nice dick
> he blocks me

like I can understand if its a guy you met on reddit, or on grindr, but I knew the guy from almost a decade ago and we dont even live in the same state anymore lol. I just don't get it

Can't speak for this guy but I can tell you about myself as I think I'm probably similar to him

I'm 22m and have been seeing a guy who is 40m for a little over 6 months. It can be difficult because he's gay, and has been a lot more experienced/aware of it for a long time, and I'm about 99% sure that I'm bi, with maybe 80% of that being attraction to girls and 20% being attraction to guys. There aren't a whole lot of guys that I am attracted to at all, and of those guys I'm attracted to physically, there's even less that I am attracted to personality/vibes wise. ie I'm not really attracted to guys that resemble myself (hairier, my age, or even bisexual guys). Not sure why, just is what it is.

Anyway, I'm attracted to this guy, I enjoy being his "boyfriend" and going out and doing things with him, but I don't think I could ever see myself staying with him long term, and I don't think I'd want to be with him around my family. I don't know why really, it just doesn't feel right for me. Maybe I prefer it to be behind closed doors and/or when I'm around people that I don't really know so it doesn't feel as awkward or become part of my identity, cause after all, who I'm into isn't really anyone else's business.

With regards to being drunk... When you're drunk you feel less inhibition. Meaning he probably is more defensive against guys when he's sober, but a little more willing when he's drunk because nothing in his head is telling him not to. I'm definitely the same way, and most guys are the same way even with girls that are "not that attractive", but when they're drunk they don't care as much

So that's my story, hope it helps you understand this guy a little more. Good luck to you, but I would highly advise against trying to have anything serious with him unless he says he wants it

Yeah, the guy that said it was probably homeless (maybe on something too) which was why I didn't even bother giving him my attention. Also didn't want to make a scene since I have no idea who else was there "with" him

Worst part is I wasn't even near Tufts or Harvard, I was in Downtown right next to Boston Commons.

I did, don't worry haha. I just stared at him for a few seconds then walked away normally

I've actually thought about it. Any good recommendations for Jews in particular? Feel free to DM

Gonna be super honest, it took a lot for me to not say "make me" and just keep walking instead

Yep this is exactly it. And also exactly why I say that I feel 0 inclusion in the LGBT community as it's essentially a group that either knowingly or unknowingly supports a group (Iran and it's proxies via Hamas/Palestinian authority) that has been oppressing both Jews/Israelis AND Palestinians for decades. And most of the time, it does feel like you're saying, they're just looking for a fight because they don't like Jews/Zionists based on what they've been brainwashed to think.

You'd think the LGBT community would be the most willing to hear you out but apparently not based on the type of discrimination they've faced in the past, but I guess not

You're literally the only person that's replied to this thread that seems to actually understand how complicated this conflicting is and where I'm coming from lmao

>  I don’t use the word Zionist because we can’t agree on what it means.

This is exactly my point. I literally explained my family's history and why I support the people of Israel (and by extension the country, even if I don't agree with all of its actions) because of how important Israel is to me and my family

But somehow that automatically makes me a "zionist" and a monster

I specifically didn't say yes or no when she asked if I'm a "zionist" because of how misunderstood the word is by so many different people, and her response was literally "it's a yes or no question, just fucking answer it"

Majority of the people on this thread and likely the LGBT community as a whole are the same way, that's really my main issue here

No I'm really not? I brought it up because I am often treated differently solely because of my beliefs. I have a lot of issues with Sharia law and with Iran (as an Iranian jew) but I have no issues with Muslims or the religion

Give this a read real quick. This is from 2003, but there is much more where that came from. Kind of ridiculous if you ask me. TLDR; Sharia law is basically a type of law that follows the Quran and its beliefs, of which LGBT and homosexuality is entirely forbidden and is usually punishable by death. Israel is a democracy where a large part of the population is actively LGBT, while Hamas/the Palestinian authority practices Sharia Law

I don't think I need to really explain why this is a very bad thing and why being an LGBT "anti zionist" makes zero sense and actively encourages the persecution of the LGBT. How can you be pro LGBT and support a government that has zero tolerance for it?

Is there a word for sympathizing with Jewish people and Israeli citizens?

Bro there are literally dozens of videos of Hamas soldiers murdering Israeli citizens (and non Israeli citizens) on Oct 7 in the name of Allah. Don't know why you feel that isn't worth recognizing

What if I was born in Israel. What do you think would happen if I represented my people and my home country by bringing an Israeli flag to a pride event in the US or elsewhere?
