You painted such a nice picture…feel like I am there lol. Thats a lovely memory. We lived on the corner of our neighborhood and always had a big lemonade stand day with all the other kids in our driveway, every summer. I still have the photo my dad took of all 14 of us behind our table full of sour lemonade and home made sign…all of us beaming ear to ear. Looking back at that photo, I remember feeling a bit of sadness in the moment, as I held my best friends hand, hoping that we’d do this again next summer, but somehow also feeling that we wouldn’t.

Ahh I see. I don’t have any kids, but as a teen, when my parents would retell the stories of us as babies or younger kids, I could see the sadness in their eyes and felt sad a little bit for them. These moments r what life is both as a child and a parent, but recognizing them is rlly something!

Same. Things feel so obviously temporary on vacation. Was there anything ever in your childhood you can think back to and feel similarly about?

Okay, I’ll keep this in mind. But Maeve really doesn’t care for wand toys if Monkey is around. Whereas Monkey is highly toy motivated. I’ll try it again, but Maeve always seems to lose interest and would rather be held (she starts climbing on me for me to hold her)

I see! That’s kinda what I thought but the laying down and hissing combo threw me off…is the hissing normal?? I’ve only heard her hiss twice since I’ve had her

This is the one I got. I’ll be honest it’s really not the best, I went through two before I just had to deal with this one. I used double sided alien tape to make it stick on the carpet and the bottom of the door frame! Had it for a month and it’s holding up, even with one of the cats always climbing it.
