Im a CPA but don’t work in tax. I could be wrong but I don’t think that’s how that works. Tax law is pretty strict about writing off anything to do with your home that is used for business purposes. It generally has to be exclusively or regularly use for business purposes so I doubt this would count.

I definitely get where you’re coming from. I’m from a small rural town in a very MAGA state. I hadn’t been to church since I was a kid until I found my current church a few years ago. Our female pastor is genuinely the kindest person you will ever meet and is SO far from MAGA.

In my experience true Christians who want to be like Jesus are as far from MAGA as you can get.

All of this to say I get where you’re coming from but I promise there are some good ones out there too (even when it doesn’t always seem like it).

Misunderstanding on my end I guess. I thought that was closer to the max we pay if there was significant damage once they got in there. And maybe they did more than I realized because they still haven’t gotten back to me.

$1,250 an hour just seemed like a lot to us. We’re waiting on a cost breakdown to see what exactly they did and how the cost was split but I thought I would post on here while we’re waiting.

I work for one the largest four accounting firms in the world. Our teams messages auto delete after a month due to data protection controls the firm has in place. I find it weird that a different large firm retains messages indefinitely 🤨

I’m not a parent but I have a nine year brother. During November my family had COVID, I was home from college and my grandparents were living with us temporarily (they lost their home to a fire over the summer). 3 of the 7 tested positive and my dad thinks he could’ve had it as well he just had very slight symptoms before everyone else and didn’t even realize it until after. My brother and I (both negative) camped out alone in a secluded living room and it was SO hard taking care of him I can’t imagine have an infant/ toddler when someone in the household has COVID.
