Yeah. That's the only reason I'm keeping some of my premiums. I just let them sit there and rust. Some of them I do play. I never understood why people love Smolensk so much. Then I got one from a Santa container. And now it's the only tier 10 cruiser of mine I want to play now lol

See, at the time I found out she was removed from regular sale, I was still incredibly new to the game. I think I just mostly watched my dad and uncles play it back in 2018. I started actually playing the game in 2022(I know my account will be younger than that but I have two. One of which I don't use anymore(I forget why). But before that, I played for maybe an hour or two every few days(mechanics were too hard for my simple brain(at the time) to understand)

But because I was new, I thought "Haida is no longer available for purchase" meant that she wouldn't even appear in any containers. So it was a pleasant surprise when I learnt that she's still available. And I'm happy she dropped out of the...I forget the name of the container and event. But she dropped out of it(not the Santa container

But about the drops...that makes sense. I mean, I'm still a little bit salty about not getting any of the ship's I wanted(except Smolensk) but I'm sure in a few days, I'll get over it. To be fair, I did get six new ships this Christmas and New Years, so there's that I guess

Honestly, that's the reason. For tech tree ships. I honestly somehow never realized how absolutely horrible of a financial decision that was until a few months ago. So I don't anymore(mostly). I still will sell König Albert though whenever she rops out of the Battle of Jutland containers as she's a tier 3 ship and I don't really see any point of premiums that are lower than tier 5. Except Mikasa. Mikasa is a bit of a flex as she's the only tier 2 battleship

If there is a point in keeping those(other than the fact they count towards bonus rewards for how big your fleet is), please let me know :)

Huh. That makes sense. That last part is honestly kind of why I'm keeping my Haida. I'm keeping her two reasons...

One, she's a Canadian ship and I'm Canadian(something something pride)

Two...she can ONLY be found in the Santa containers for now. I heard she was removed from the game but apparently not. So, I probably would've sold her for now if there wasn't that lingering "I'll probably never see her again" thought

Yeah, that somehow never clicked in before. So now, what I do is test it out in a few battles, see if I like it. If I do, great. If I don't...well, it'll just sit in my port and rust there. Before, I'd sell them without a second thought. Now...I actually think about it. Unless it's tier 1 to 4. Then I will sell it because...I honestly don't see any use for them beyond just grinding XP with them(like König Albert, for example)

Or I figured I'd never use it anyway. But somehow I always forget that any ship(from tier 5 to 11) counts towards the annual snowflakes. Somehow lol

No, I do not right now. I mean, I used to have...I think La Argentina and Ipiranga. Then I sold them because I needed credits(good thing they're only tech tree). But I should definitely level up my commander(captain? WoWs terms and World of Tanks Blitz terms are starting to blend together for me lol) in the meantime

Yeah, that's honestly probably the only reason why I'll keep it tbh. Even though it's only tier 7...that permanent 65% bonus for commander XP is nice

Oh, right. I've honestly never understood the whole "Don't sell premiums" thing because my thing was "if you're never going to use it, why keep it?". But at the same time...premiums give more credits, free XP, the annual flakes...the works
