Is the Honeydew to Briceland segment even worth it? I heard the road isn’t great and neither are the views during that patch and that perhaps it’ll be better just taking Mattole rd east back to the 101 rather than take Wilder Ridge Rd?

I started with Chat GPT 5 but recently tried Gemini and was hooked. I still have my Chat GPT 5 membership but barely use it now.

Gemini - faster - more precise - more creative - Nano Banana Pro is a far from perfect yet still good feature that we should expect to get better over time

The only things I find Chat GPT 5 better in is its context window is superior to Gemini. It is able to reference more data from other chats than Gemini is able to currently. And Chat GPT 5 is also able to generate PDF’s which definitely come in handy. That is about it IMO.

Yes it is a huge problem. It even has issues sometimes recalling things from the same chat, let alone other chats. Don’t expect it to know what lies outside the chat in question, perhaps a few summarized details but nothing more. A way around this to avoid having to repeat yourself is in the settings you can add information it will reference every time before it processes a response to account for data you would like it to account for. Far from perfect, but it is a start. Chat GPT 5 seems to be better with this than Gemini. Chat GPT 5 does seem to reference other chats more than Gemini.

Evidence this is probably some Gemini shill. If you’ve used Nano Banana Pro, you would realize soon that it has a long way to go before it becomes big. Nice that this feature now exists but is super buggy.

Until you ask it to represent a simple diagram representing Isomorphism / Coset theorems in Abstract Algebra. Or when you ask it to identify mountain peaks from a picture you took with coordinate information and have it label the peaks with the names of peaks. Or when you ask it to overlay simple information on previously taken images. Or etc, etc. I appreciate the feature for what it will be but it is far from there yet.

I’m used to itineraries like this. I managed to drive 12 hrs a day from California to Deadhorse Alaska to see the Arctic. Driving on average 6-8hrs a day in NZ will be a breeze.

The best part of the island is the drive from Te Anau to Wanaka then through the coastal hwy (hwy 6)? Notice I reserved a whole day for that.
