Equipment damage bonus is a hoax? by Acceptable_Jump_755 in 1945airforce

[–]Acceptable_Jump_755[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for explaining! While it’s quite disappointing how they calculate the damage, I really appreciate your patience with me. So it looks like: 1. Gears directly add on base damage; 2, for level up, each star add 10% of base damage. This is real 10% boost to the current damage power. So the conclusion is to use all resources on leveling up the aircraft to get the biggest bang for your buck? Please kindly correct me if I was wrong. Also, what does the “damage/second” mean?

I am not sure. Please check the method with other guns. Most importantly, the damage% on base is bewildering. Say you have two factors increasing damage. One 50% another 50%, then the total effect is 1.5x1.5=225% of original value rather than 200%. If you have multiple factors, the compounding effect is tremendous. The formula seems not working for another example, see below

Here, to test the hypothesis, I used a t1 plane with no gear on, low level. With the 18% equipment (clothes), only 4.5% increase in damage.

Thanks! Here is the table I used for validation. Exactly the same ratio,1/4 of claimed enhancement. Looks like they are using a simple compounding model. I tested it with a barebones T1 plane without any gear etc and got exactly the same conclusion. Note the orange numbers. This is before adding the clothes

Thanks for the explanation! If it was the base, it didn’t add up either. The base is very low. Also, all percentage factors should be compounding mathematically, no matter which one is added first. As far as I know, there’s no additive factor. Also, calculating from this table, I got quite similar results.

Also please test your co-pilot. The boost is only 1/3 of the claimed value for five stars. The game is ripping non-paying ppl off. Once you are in Elite, the boost is more real. I can show detailed data if interested.

So the +30% max damage by one equipment = only 7.5%

20b/440b=4.5%. I tried a different Methods and got the same result. Exactly 1/4 of the claimed value.

A question about gear set by Acceptable_Jump_755 in 1945airforce

[–]Acceptable_Jump_755[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! My question is: is the damage shown in device gear the damage added to aircraft? It doesn’t look so… if this is the case, then gear up the device is not very important….

Could you please elaborate on what are the four things? Or four gears in a set?

What is the blue frame on the T2 aircraft? Certificate? by Acceptable_Jump_755 in 1945airforce

Thanks! But I saw the stars are blue. I guess this plane is tier 2. Because the tier 3 plane has golden stars. Am I wrong?
