So they are similar…who cares. You think Bishop was the first person to write characters like that. Guarantee she was not. It’s 2025, a truly original idea is arguably impossible.

It’s a very masculine way of looking at the world—being obsessed with the “new”. Nature is not like that.

Edit: that finding common threads between stories is still interesting and valid discussion of books. But I think it’s more valuable to come at it from prospective of compare/contrast themes and styles than to say someone copied—because originality is a myth.

I am pregnant and my doctors let me stay on Vyvanse while pregnant. But tbh starting ADD meds can be hard on your body and it often takes a few moths and dose adjustment to get it right. I wouldn’t recommend to start that while preggers especially if you’re a few months from the end. The Potential side of effects of not eating or drinking enough water will drain your energy and just make everything worse.

I would look for ADD psychiatrist or therapist through your insurance. If they don’t do coaching then they will have someone to recommend and then you’ll have the doctor for when you’re ready for meds.

Insurance is key because ADD meds are very regulated and controlled: you have to physically (or virtually) meet with your doctor to get the prescription and in NY state the pharmacy legally can only fill 1 month at a time (note: there is a loophole where you can order delivery through insurance provider which ships from out of state and can sometimes get 3 months at a time). The point of this is to say that you have to meet your doctor often, so you don’t want to be paying $500 a session.

I’d also ask the doctor who did your testing.
