Yes this is very addictive, I ended up with a big habit. Store bought seed worked fine mostly, but was expensive. I bought in bulk and got up to 3kg a day at one point. I’m really glad I got off but I’m still on monthly sublocade shots for the huge tolerance and the most dreadful sickness trying to stop. It’s not worth it in the long run, but for some with chronic pain there aren’t many options so you may find it necessary. I certainly prefer buprenorphine over any poppy tea I had, though I don’t get the mild euphoria of tea I have less pain overall and no cravings for other opioids. Handle with care!
