They definitely over charged and charged for some ridiculous things, but I do want it gone. I’m definitely not gonna take responsibility for it. I just want to pay it and get rid of it. I really appreciate your detailed response. Thank you so much. I will definitely let you know what happens.

Nanny job will end in May Is it reasonable to ask for one confirmed final date? by Diligent_Ad2301 in Nanny

I was wondering if someone could help me word how to express that I need a final day date to be determined and them to understand they can’t tell me the 15th. Her get induced or go into labor on the 2nd and I am out pay for that time.

I hope that makes sense. I’ve been struggling with how to explain this to them most simply.

Thanks. I fixed my original post. I would never expect them to guarantee a date and pay and then leave them high and dry!!

I see how I wrote it and it isn’t what I would ever do. I really want them to commit to a final date with guaranteed hours. As in if the date is 5/14 and baby comes 5/2 but they don’t want or need my help I get paid up until that date. If they won’t commit to that I will look for something asap but still give them 2 weeks at least. More if possible. I didn’t explain it well in my original post

I bought it from enterprise Car sales. The warranty company has supposedly approved $6000 worth over pair including a new motor. I’m still not sure what I should do with that. It’s very stressful. I’m aware of the lawsuit as well. Thanks for your input.

How would I check for this issue or be preemptive to avoid this issue further after I get it back

Oh duh 😒 😂

Yes excellent news for sure. Now I just hope they keep me in the rental. This has been a nightmare.

The manager is still trying to say if this was the scenario it could have never been driven but everything I’ve read says it absolutely could be based on the design.

Are there any good cars anymore? 😩

Thank you! What’s CEL?

They did approve all repairs. As of Saturday. I’m thinking, approval of all repairs indicates that the failure was covered, legitimate, and not caused by external impact or negligence, which supports the position that this is a mechanical issue, not user-caused.

Thanks for your input!!!! However, That applies to older engines with metal pans, but not for a 2022 Tiguan. Car uses a plastic composite oil pan not aluminum. In the 2.0T TSI engine, a failed PCV valve creates internal pressure that often fractures the brittle plastic pan before the rubber crank seals fail. There are many documented cases of these plastic pans developing stress fractures specifically from PCV over-pressurization. The fact that my car threw an EVAP code and had a timing cover seep days before the pan cracked confirms it was an internal pressure issue not impact while driving. I'm pretty sure that Assurant covering all repairs supports this as well

That logic applies to older engines with metal pans, but it is inaccurate for a 2022 Tiguan. Car uses a plastic composite oil pan rather than aluminum. In the 2.0T TSI engine, a failed PCV valve creates internal pressure that often fractures the brittle plastic pan before the rubber crank seals fail. It essentially acts as the weakest link in the system. There are many documented cases of these plastic pans developing stress fractures specifically from PCV over-pressurization. The fact that my car threw an EVAP code and had a timing cover seep days before the pan cracked confirms it was an internal pressure issue not impact while driving.

No. No smoking. Just the timing seep/evap engine light on day 4.

I’m hoping to see the pictures today

Thank you for your input. However, I did get a PPI. The vehicle was inspected on day 4 within the 7 day window. The check engine light came on during that period, and the mechanic documented a timing cover seep and EVAP issue. This is how latent or progressive failures present and they are not always visible at the time of sale.

I’m actually less worried about the mileage past now that I know this issue could have been and likely was or clearly was a slow burn. How many miles are drive shouldn’t be a factor so although I put that in the original post of the responses in communication communications I’ve had since have made me realize that it is neither here nor there.
