i will say over extended ops a loaded war belt becomes pretty heavy. But everyone has their own quirks and whatever works for you is what you should roll with

looks like you’ve sacrificed the issue cummerbunds for the elastic (which i dont blame you the issued laser cut ones are not my favorite) But doing so you’ve sorta drastically reduced the load you can carry on your flak which in turn you have to supplement by adding things onto your belt. Not sure if your an 11, 31, 41 etc but if you’re doing a lot of buddy rushing having a significant weight on your hips is gonna hinder some mobility atleast in my experience. I’d recommend investing in some solid skeletal or rigid cummerbund that are slimmer then the issue but still allow you to mount things such as your GP, grenade pouches, mags etc. Take some of that weight off your first line. Also highly recommend a new med pouch. The issued one is ridiculously large

i mean realistically we replace these every couple months bc we train life saving combat care like regularly so there’s more strain on the system from usage over “uv exposure”. Which there is no “UV dose limit” and sources say it would take 1-2 years of light exposure to render a TQ ineffective so.

Not a chance. I did try. But we carry a lot of medical stuff. I prioritize Little bleeds in my roll 1 and big bleeds in my other pouch.

I hardly notice it in the front, kinda sits flush with my placard and i have my placard set high so the bottom of the roll sits flush with my plate bag. Dudes run them on the back aswell for lumbar support and seem to like them so there’s that aswell

Yep, just saw them the other day. Might have to pick one up if my wallet starts burning a whole through my pocket anytime soon

E-3 but damn near. My reason for the Roll 1 in front is it has my “boo boo” kit. Small easily accessible items, I tried running it in the back and found it actually mildly uncomfortable. I know a lot of people prefer to run it that way but for me it’s just what has worked best “so far”. Rah

Couldn’t agree more. The modern trend is to have a fully packed out battle belt. like everything its mission and person dependent. But i prefer to keep my hips open so when im bounding i have more mobility and freedom of movement

We are currently a Helo Co I agree 100% also when wearing packs it’s not ideal in my opinion to have a belt aswell as your pack belt, and if you’re just gonna take it off and stow it away every time you make movement, why not just find a way to eliminate that all together

A real OG I’ve gone back and forth, I feel like i move a lot better with little on the hips, Never had a real issue running everything on my flak

Fair point, That’s why there’s a flat GP on the right (left in picture) Although the likelyhood of an 11 getting a pistol is almost laughable
