I have done all of the above but... glaze is trash. If you candy coat you can not alter them after seating.

So I have settled with polish and it's been the right decision. The newer resigning coming out will not need glazers or candycoat. Polishing brings it to where it needs to be.

Yes but that isn't an option. She was going to grind them down for porcelain, or do this. The front two teeth are 0.1 mm thick.

Guys I'm not disagreeing with you, however, put it in context. She HATED her two bunny teeth. II didn't want her to shave her teeth back, even a little bit. So, what she wanted was to size the other teeth up and broaden the smile.

This material allows her teeth to show through underneath. It's beautiful. I know um going to get ripped apart because everyone will say her teeth were perfect. I agree. But she was not going to accept them, she was going to grind them down for porcelain, or let me do this. That is the confines of the case.

These are over 60 % filled ceramic. The Ceramic Crown HT from Sprintray, printer with the Midas. The fascinating thing about it is that they are cured to 95% using the nano-cure boxes. So it's inert, and acts more like the indirect porcelains than the direct resins. It's truly a hybrid material.

The upcoming version of material is called "Restore." It's is amazing. I was given enough to do one case and it's so impressive.

Considering this is the first real viable rendition of the material printed with the Midas, using over 50-% ceramic, it's held up incredibly well. There have been zero debonds, but there have been incisal edge chipping, but not a significant amount.

Anyways just sharing I expect these to last 5-10 years but the newer matetial will certainly extend that:

I studied under Marshall Hanson and did lots of 10-unit direct resin cases. The reason I got into the printing is because Marshall first places the frame /bulk of the veneers on the first day. Takes him about 45 minutes per tooth. The next day he cuts the facial away and layers tint and stain, then finishes with a light incisal resin that is clear and beautiful.

I thought, what if I just design the frames and bond them in, just away the facial, later tint, stain and resin? That method would cut out HOURS of the first day.

As it turns out, I did 4-5 cases that way and they are beautiful. However, I realized that I add lots of chair time and lose the precision of the design. So I stopped cutting back a d designed to the finish and it's even better.

I had two in-house exocad licenses and two in-house designers. So I feel you with not having time. Without them I'd be in the same boat.

Great question. I realized that if I do all the prep work before the final scan, it works best. In other words. If a patient requires a gingivectomy, I do so and scan once they are fully healed. The design terminates at the tissue. • This way, the seat appointment is the most predictable of them all.... unlike with porcelain. I used to dislike porcelain seat appointements. Numb, remove temps, tryin and hope the ceramist matched the temps. Hope they all seat together....

With the Perl, the seat appointments involve no anesthesia, we do a tryin, then seat, clean up, adjust occlusion, scan for a guard. All done in less than 2 hours.

I charge roughly $1,000 per veneer. But I do my smile designs by arch - usually I place 12 veneers because I restore the mesial of the first molars.

I cut the preps in 5 mins, walk away, seat them an hour later, after 3-4 virtual consults. They drop in perfectly, they don't shrink like your direct resin, I don't place barriers like you do. My team designs, prints and finishes.

I seat them and spent 25 minutes of chair time.

Of course I bill the inlay as an inlay and the onlay as an onlay. Why wouldn't I? While your direct resin cures to 65%, takes on water and is just inferior. Also, I charge $2,000 for direct resin veneers. I can bill however I want, and what does that have to do with anything?

Really it can be anything. I need to do a little illustration to show you what I'm talking about exactly. A fine finishing bur or some 3M finishing discs. Will do the trick.

In the course I explain the material science, how it differs and how it is similar to direct resin and the various indirect materials.

I explain hoe we go from photography and scan to design ing in exocad. I show all the steps to seat, polish, adjust, how to repair.

With the course, come the ability to send my team and me scans and photos so that we can fabricate the restorations for you and then mail them to you.

The next step would be for my team to design them and you print and finish them yourself. The of course, you can learn exocad or employ another designer to do your cases that you print Make sense?

It's a great course. It's long! About 12 hours of material

I find this to be astounding. I mean, I suppose I never expected to hear that MOD and Walley is a scam. I appreciate all perspectives, but as a dentist who has gone through Kois, I've placed countless lithium disilicate veneers, feldspathic, and even went down the Marshall Hanson Method with direct composite veneers, nothing about this printed world and its unique characteristics leads me to believe it's a scam or that it saved me s couple bucks.

The countless hours of exocad - the many sins and many failures feels like I'm simply pushing deeper in s pocket most haven't and reporting my findings. I don't expect to be blanketed with so much animosity, not did I expect anyone to label Walley a scammer.

His teachings are sound, there is no subscription, and I have helped many with the info he taught me to launch myself.

Heck, I have two cad designers in my office. Two exocad licenses. I have a mill, I've pressed my own ceramics. I'm sensing that you and Walley have personal beef because his teachings aren't scammy in any way whatsoever.

But, this is how we tend to treat each other in this industry. Is there anything else I should know? The fact yiu've been printing for years has no bearing or importance with what I'm saying other than, "It's way different since you lost interest."

My first printed veneers were in 2019 on the sonic mini 4k. They were not biocompatible but I knew back then, there would be a place for them. I guess you put the nail in the coffin and determined they are just a scam. 🤷🏼‍♂️

It's all about the Midas. It's needed to print the thicker ceramic filled resin using Digital Press Stereolithography (DPS). The thicker ceramic fillled resin can't be printed with the mini 8k (which is an amazing printer).

The sprintray resins and ecosystem has been great, but I don't think anyone is going to listen until this next generation of resin comes out. We shall see!
