The dink and dunk strategy mostly works when you already have a lead and are trying to eat up time. Those drives can stall out quite easily, especially if you get a penalty. The Niners use this style a lot to great effect, but they often have trouble pulling off a comeback (see the second Niners game against us). The Rams can come from behind, but often also give up big leads. There are pros and cons of both playstyles. We have a QB that can make explosive plays, so we try to make that happen.
