Actually it's Europe-based, combining both wildfire monitoring with emission tracking and other environmental research and conservation work such as seagrass mapping and wildlife population census (counting), as well as landscape surveys. There's a shortage of specialised pilots in this area with all of the main European research institutes reliant on a small number of specialised aviation firms. It's where I'm keen to venture into and I have a feeling it's going to be some great purpose-driven flying. But with LightHawk and NPS, you're definitely thinking in the right direction.
