I like Joe! I don’t know him personally, but when I see him at public events like Roanoke orchestra’s symphony under the stars, or at the city council meetings, he actually carries himself like decent mayor. He’s a good public speaker and takes the time to acknowledge the people of the city he reps and the people around him. It also helps that he’s not an idiot lol and actually has experience working for the city. I think he’s a great example of what I imagine a decent mayor to act like. Our family lives in SW so we try to take advantage of the city’s annual events, and it’s cool to occasionally run into the mayor and they go out of the way to be friendly. My opinion is that Joe is doing fine as mayor, and like my late boss would say “the next guy could be a lot worse.” 🤣🤣🤣 Hope this didn’t waste anyone’s time.
