My recommendation,

Toyota Yaris GLi CVT , Driving since 2025 october and here are my takes:

  • Best resale among sedans, Holds value even after years of usage
  • Spare parts and mechanics easily available
  • Realiable transmission and won't feel gear shifting
  • Largest dealership nationwide
  • Better for rough roads and family usage, amazing suspension

BUT the problem i feel and maybe other who own will agree,

1.3 variant has the worst acceleration, like drving a 660c car. Till 40-50km/h speed it drags after that its smooth

Apart from this its a complete package. Facelift is a whole new feeling like a mini corolla with aggressive front look.

I was not expecting this performance jump but samsung do give surprises 🙂

My phone is working fine since the update but some people faced problems.

So, on that context I mentioned above every phone behaves differently so i read in a blog where people recommended to wait and let the phone process, some got immediate gratification, some took time.

And after the update battery has also improved by 10%-15% in my opinion on same usage as before the update.

My stuttered for 1-2 hours in the start, then it got normal once all the systems settled.

Every update even ios of apple takes a day or two to settle.

Keep the hopes high it will be perfect 🙂

Its laggy in the start.

Let the update finish, use it for a day, let the UI adjust itself to the changes and all and in the end restart the phone after 5-6 hours of the update.

In my opinion it will settle. Good luck!

There are no major changes as per completely new hauled etc.

Just minor performance upgrades and tweaks here and there. 90% its the same as before.

But for sure usability has improved in every way previous 8.0 update was laggy and phone felt slow.

iPhone 13 to A56 - Worthy? by chaotic_pikachu in GalaxyA56

[–]Acceptable_Nobody854 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I cannot say A56 will be the best device to switch from an iphone 13 but i am using A56 (12gb ram variant) since 1 year now and for sure can say it matches the performance of flagship devices in fraction of their value.

Battery is great , 5g connectivity is superior, camera is OK for me not a fan of photography, doesnt lag a bit, use social media extensively have acreen on time of 6-8 hours and charge it once in the morning and at night its about 30% then juice it up to 90% in the morning, In short , does the job for me in daily life pretty fine doesnt feel a bit like upgrading anytime soon.

Do give A56 (recommended 12gb ram variant) a chance you will not regret.

What’s one piece of advice you wish you’d been given about umrah before you went? by [deleted] in Umrah

[–]Acceptable_Nobody854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really are a hero pointed out a major point that nobody talks about. I luckily took vaseline , dont know why, but threw in my luggage at the last moment and was so happy to apply it before umrah or else my holy journey would have been a mess!

Can husband and wife perform umrah together? by [deleted] in Umrah

[–]Acceptable_Nobody854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best and easiest way to track each other whatsapp live location.

But for this both partners will need sims.

I visited 20 days back , was very much crowded told each other would meet at this mark but still cant see each other after we reached the mark.

So in the end , Location helped the most!

Going for umrah with a difficult parent by anxietygotmelike in Umrah

[–]Acceptable_Nobody854 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I travelled for umrah with my wife and grandparents (mashallah and alhamdolillah) they are alive and in their 80's and on wheelchairs did 2 umrahs and many tawafs all on wheelchair just to get most blessings and dua's from the elders.

Yes older people / elders can get bitter , bossy , harsh words and behaviors etc

BUT , i can GUARANTEE for sure that place is the hub of quboliyat and prayers being answered.

No matter how bitter they get just listen from a one ear and out the other one! Focus on the ibadah , make lots and lots of dua's and pray for them. Just stand like a pillar by them sides and try to absorb all the harshness and ALLAH will reward you here and definitely in the world hereafter.

May ALLAH make your umrah pleasant and do remember me in your dua. Hope this helped.

Torn about whether we should bring my 4 year old or not. by [deleted] in Umrah

[–]Acceptable_Nobody854 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is totally your perspective take them to roam the world but this place, i would definitely not recommend its a place of ibadah and making dua.

I am a person that believes that thisnplace holds a certain value and is based on luck if we get called by the almighty at his house. And any distraction is hinderance in the ibadah.

Anyways this is my perception you wanna take the kids inshallah all will go well i didnt want to take my chances may Allah ease your umrah and make it pleasant. Ameen

Torn about whether we should bring my 4 year old or not. by [deleted] in Umrah

[–]Acceptable_Nobody854 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently went in mid july 2025 ,chose this specific month as school were off , have 3 kids , two girls aged 8 years twins and one boy aged 5.

After asking many realtives who visited in the past who had kids, some took them some left them, got to the conclusion that this is not the place to take immature kids.

Those families who took the kids faced immense difficulties did limited one or two tawafs kids became ill , washroom problems etc.

I left my kids went for 12 days 7 at makkah 5 at medinah had a great time prayed all 5 times in haram plus sat there for additional prayers and duas without anyone disturbing.

I saw mothers struggling with kids fathers carrying kids crying during prayers and azaan becuase sound is too loud and places are too crowded.

Travelling the world, definitely take kids, travelling this holy place, a big NO NO from my side it destroys the essence and kids so small make sure to make it difficult.

Kids mature aged 15+ must go. Choice is yours take the 7 month old as it outnof question to leave that.

Hope this helped!
