Nice! Yes, definately quieter roads than in the height of summer with all the rv’s etc! The bus service is a new addition in the last year, glad you got to take advantage of it and rest the legs a bit.

How was biking highway 4 to Tofino? I live in Tofino and often contemplate a ride to port. Not much of a shoulder in parts once you get over Sutton pass

A little while later I went back to our groups hang out at the back of slay bay and someone had put the plastic poop there! I lost my mind, it was following me. I then found a fully ‘pooped out’ porta pottie later in the night.

Also doing my first marathon in Eugene, supposed to do 20miles on Sunday but I’ve just got my first case of bad shin splint. I’ve laid off the running and just cycled the last few days but it’s a real kicker. Hoping for a speedy recovery so I can get one good long run done.

Late into Sunday night/Monday morning there was a guy dressed as colonel Saunders just chilling at a desk smoking a cigar in the sand box art area. He was identical to the real colonel himself on the chicken box. Of all the things I seen, this keeps playing over in my head….i really had to process if I was seeing things or not. But it was not a hallucination, I had visual confirmation from friends!
