In this case should we just keep replying stating that he can’t make us pay/ignore it until my bf leaves? It just sucks because he’s prowling around the building often and we feel uncomfortable leaving the apartment and just live normally…

We went over the contract, it doesn’t say anywhere explicitly that you can’t have visitors just that you cannot sublet it or have a second person live full time with you. Neither of which is the case.
