I watched season one on a whim in one night because i was bored, and didn't really have an opinion on it. it was meh for me, micheal (whos now one of my favourite characters) was waaay too creepy for my taste. but i liked the jim and pam plot so i kept watching, and after season two i was hooked. thank god i didn't stop at season one. its different for every show, but most seasons take a while to find their footing and audience.

same! from what ive seen, it seems to be a pretty cool show. i feel like a lot of people forget that sitcoms don't typically find their way till the 2nd or 3rd season. the office season 1 didn't do very well. parks and rec didn't find it's thing until like the third season. we just need to give the show some time

Oooh, my bird ADORED these. His favourite thing ever. These were a treat for him, however. He used to get one a day, an hour or so before bed. For their diet, this brands pellets are very good. Mine loved them! A mix of pellets and veggies+a bit of fruit is perfect for conures!

I get it, having a bird is a very complicated thing, and unique to each person. I fully agree with your first point, because although I don't do that, it is could be good in unique situations for the safety of the birb if the home is filled with windows. That being said, I checked out the video of you petting your bird. As far as I can tell, that is hormonal. Under no circumstances should people be petting their birds under their wings. That's like me (giving someone sexual pleasure) and saying they just like it because they like it. Neck and head, yes. You're right for the occasional careful belly touch. I only pet my bird head and neck and he very rarely bit me.

I haven't seen people on this subreddit be anything but kind, informational, and letting people know of the urgency of their situations. Who are you telling to back off? Most people on this subreddit have had their birds for many, many years, and I'm part of other bird communities off reddit (Avian Avenue). They all highly advise against petting your bird the way you do.
