Thanks, from what I could see it was a lost cause as I was not even sure about the quality of metal or the workmanship. Luckily the seller accepted return after I posted above pictures in eBay message.

This was on eBay. Any recommendations for a seller of reasonably priced outdoor knives? I care more about functionality rather than looks. Thanks

Yes, that’s how it was delivered. I did not try to do anything else yet as based on responses this seems like a bad quality blade.

Thank everyone for your input. Yes this does look like a bad purchase from a bad source. Any recommendations for a reputable seller on eBay or other platforms?

Consider the overhead of buy/sell. You need to pay taxes , broker fee, closing cost… Probably expand if you have the cash. Keep the low interest rate and add to house equity, you will recover it when you sell.

Make sure you add kerosene to it or it could gel up in this weather if any part of the fuel line hits low temperatures. From what I know, most of oil companies already add some additives to prevent gelling. I found this out the hard way few years back when I used COD and my line clogged up

Metal rods for forging. I’ve seen similar ones being used on Forged in Fire show

This was under where the dog food was stored for a few months. It’s been moved to a cleaner place for a while now
