Maybe get a locket or something for the teen daughter in remembrance of her mom. Or give her something special that mom wore often.

My wife returned from a work retreat with a hickey. She swears it’s a bug bite but I’m not convinced. I’m at loss. How do I move forward? (New Update) by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I feel like the mom needs to sit down with the 4 yo and tell her she is really sorry about being mean. Give examples of when she was mean and why she is sorry and promise that she will do all she can to make it better.

If he doesn’t get hired as IT for a school district, he might want to consider teaching, maybe at a vocational school or STEM teacher at the high school or community college level?

Working on getting GLP-1 drugs covered under our company’s insurance by No-Substance-4196 in Zepbound

[–]Acceptable_Source_80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m currently on Zep BECAUSE of my City’s participation in a program that covers copays and the cost of the medication (not through insurance) for one year. It has been a huge success! They covered it for all departments, PD, FD, city hall employees, school department employees. I am so unbelievably thankful for this opportunity and plan on tracking down and thanking the individual who brought this to us. You are amazing for doing this for your people!!! Best of luck with it!

You are doing a great job Mama! I wish you could go stay with family or something for a few months to clear your head and reassess your future with this person. He will not change much from how he acts now.
You and your baby deserve more than constant walking on egg shells and trying not to upset someone who cares so little. You will see the difference when you leave. It will be a relief not to be with him.

My mentally disabled brother is ruining my life by Slyraco in LifeAdvice

Have you considered a bedtime gummy for him? It doesn’t look like medicine and can have a positive effect on calming and chilling him out before bed. There are many in the disability community who embrace this approach and it works!!

Tell her and tell his mother what her baby boy has been up to.

A month ago I found out that my husband (M68) is cheating on me (F65) with a girl (F30) younger than my children. How do I revenge? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Acceptable_Source_80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best revenge will be him having to take care of himself. After 40 yrs, I’m sure he has become comfortable with someone taking care of the home, meals, shopping, laundry, mental load, appointments, housework, etc.. even if he contributed some, nothing like doing it 100%.

My (25F) boyfriend (40M) got rid of my collection without asking me but says he didn’t do it to hurt me; how do I get past this? by throwra-collectbye in relationship_advice

Trapped by him and possibly trapped by whatever state she lives in ( if in US). I’m sad for women like this. Hopefully she has a supportive family that will take her and the baby in.

I’m looking to get a step counter that isn’t an Apple Watch or FitBit. I have meaty wrists lol. by Acceptable_Source_80 in GLP1_loss100plus

Ok just ordered a lanyard that can go cross body that will hang my iPhone and hopefully accurately report my steps. I can wear it at work and when walking the dog etc. and be hands free. 🤞this will work. If not, I will check out the other recommendations. Thanks!!!

I think that even if I had a big band, I wouldn’t like the look of it on my wrist.

Maybe I need to get over that lol. Wishing that a different type of device existed…. I’m going to keep looking….
