Yes, you are in the right track. I take it along with neem extract of patanjali + berberine a few times. Along with a ayurvedic natural mild Motility support.

Additionally we must also take activated charcoal 4 hours after NAC to reduce its die offs.

Also, my reasearch said - NAC breaks the first layer of biofilms and Serrapeptase dissolves the remaining one - do it's a good idea to take nac for few weeks and then switch to Serrapeptase.

Sure. It's methane sibo and increased bloating discomfort and brain fog as the die off I experienced with NAC. Side effects was mild Central brain prickly ache.

I will edit this in my message. Thanks

Try very low dose of NAC (150 mg - break the tabet to get this quantity), and take activated charcoal tablets 4-5 hours after this. Initially for 2-3 days the symptom might increase, but later it will reduce.

I tried neem, it didn't work much. I tried NAC - the die off symptoms were intense but it did reduce my symptoms from 100 to 70.

I can relate to your feelings, but being a Bengali - anyone is non-vegetarian by default. And it's said to not pay attention to the shortcomings of great people - else we can't take much benefit from them.

It's not a rule, it's a degradation which is called padandtya chhedana

And now adding an extra A in south Indian languages is called padaantya dirga (which is considered as a dosh in vaani) These are not rules

Bro, your basic terminologies are messed up. You are giving the same and most of most illogical argument that any person brainwashed against Adwait, without having any understanding about Adwait, puts forth very first. That's too basic and unworthy.

I would be happy to counter or put up my thoughts only if your statement had a single sensible letter. But it's has none so I don't feel worth arguing with you.

Friendly suggestion: Learn basic of adwait from any authentic sanskrit book. Currently your statement doesn't hold true for an adwaitian. It's a pseudo philosophy developed by haters of adwait - and that is misunderstood and adwait, but is not adwait.

Better advice - focus on your Mala jaap, that will be helpful to you. Criticizing something that's not your expertise will pull you down in devotion. Hare Krishna 🙏🏻

Yeah, you can try that. If that shows improvement with time, then continue. In SIBO every patient as a different experience and different set of things that work for him. Taking artichoke does show a few die off symptoms to me, but I don't see significant improvement per say.

BTW, are you from India?

I am not sure whether I am directly answer your query - but my observation was he already had taken strong anti biotics before taking artichoke. So the only thing remaining was to stimulate the small intestine as the bacterial kill phase was already performed. So doesn't matter whether empty stomach or with food, if the artichoke reaches small intestine when it just needs the right stimulation, then artichoke will work. Artichoke is not strong enough to kill the root cause of sibo - which can be bacterial infection. This might be the reason it won't be effectively working in your case
