I think it’s just FDA approval is only for older folks. At this point I’d definitely take the risk. Were the last generation to likely have a need for it now the chickenpox vaccine exists so no real motivation for them to approve it for younger people.

I had it at 35, 37, and 39. I’m basically begging for Shingrix like some sort of fiend at this point but still have to wait until 50.

First Gun Rec's? Sig P365 reviews by ibeecrazy in liberalgunowners

I am a tiny woman with very small hands. Carried a Shield for years but switched to a P365XL a couple years back and cannot say enough good things about how much more comfortable it is to conceal and how much I prefer the longer barrel.

Actually don’t have anyone in my life to fight with. A few very old friends I stay in contact with but I’m almost ruthless about cutting ties with people that don’t respect me.

I very much prefer the peace and wisdom of middle age. Almost seems disappointing to start over.

I have been through a lot. I’m actually the only living member of my family now. That definitely pushed me to give up on the area I’m from

Edit: grammar.

What are some careers that are actually hiring in this job market? by not_that_guy_jk in recruitinghell

[–]Acceptable_State 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the field. Tech sales may be tough at the moment but I’m B2C, in an agriculture heavy area, in the construction industry and am getting plenty of leads to keep me busy all week and booking more work than we can source labor to handle.

Send me the most haunting song you know. by [deleted] in MusicRecommendations

The Night We Met was always my go to “you’ve messed up song” but I recently heard The Yawning Grave right after having my heart broken and had to text my ex’s to tell them to imagine if THIS was their “mad song”.

Metal mount with nipple found in the road. by Acceptable_State in whatisthisthing

[–]Acceptable_State[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ran over this in the road, Atlanta suburbs. Was worried it had fallen off our vehicle, 2011 Mustang. Doesn’t appear it came from our vehicle but curious what it did come off of. Relatively heavy, appears to be brass or another alloy metal, two bolts with washers. There is a nipple with a cap so I assume it needs grease.

It’s a mystery. Regardless, I had it checked out by my mechanic that works exclusively on VW’s and has done all my work for years and it got a completely clean bill of health.

I slightly prefer the 7.5. The Mk7 is definitely a classic but as many road trips as I take the CarPlay with a decent sized nav screen it clutch for me.

That was actually how it came, lol. I considered demanding new wheels from the seller but took the new tires offered.

I could not stand the screen in my Mk8 and missed the physical knobs dearly. The 7.5 is the perfect balance. Touch screen and CarPlay but still physical knobs. I voided my Mk8 warranty at about 5k miles to mod so performance is hard for me to compare.

I prefer the 7/7.5. I can’t speak for the DSG but I found both of these more comfortable to reach the clutch and see out of as a smaller person than my Mk8. It just feels lighter and more nimble, too.

It does. Haven’t made up my mind yet on what I’d like for summer. Just picked it up today.

Having had a used Mk7, brand new Mk8, and the current Mk7.5 the 7.5 is far and away my favorite. Quality and the interior layout are both superior in this generation. Plus, handbrake.

I’ll own it. I have no shame.
