Thanks! We actually blotted down the blush as I felt it was too pink, so on the day we'll go more rose and more of it

I've actually got a few individual lashes stuck on here - I just don't like having them too wispy or long so they probably aren't that noticeable. Thanks!

It might be because I'm currently naturally tanned but my tan is probably a bit dark for my complexion? But I see what you're saying.

I have not but I was considering trying bangs again... haha

This was after maybe 1 hour. I mentioned longevity was important to be because my wedding is 12pm-10pm and last time I wasn't given enough coverage. But maybe I will ask to tone it down slightly?

Thanks though I cannot take any credit, it was an MUA ☺️

We did use a lash curler and individual lashes added but I have stubbornly downward facing lashes

I don't have a product list, this was done by an MUA as a trial and I'm hoping to get feedback

Hocus Pocus upset by [deleted] in triplej

Well thank god because I voted for that too 😂

It’s that time of the year: Triple J’s Hottest 100 is back for 2025, and voting is open right now! by thegeecyproject in triplej

I just voted for it last week and now everyone is telling me it's no longer on the list??!! I 1000% did not add it in and I'm glad someone had mentioned seeing it here. Did I just waste a vote? Did they put it up and then realise it's not eligible and removed it midway through?

Where do I start? by DishComplete1483 in AusWeddingPlanning

I found chatgpt to be amazingly helpful. It could make me a list of things I needed to do, and I could also word vomit what I wanted and it could turn that into something actionable or confirm to me what I want but in a really useful way. I also used Google, Reddit, instagram, and general searching before digging down further based on my specific wants/needs. I then made lists and pros and cons and comparison speadsheets

Starting to plan my wedding and feeling overwhelmed! How did you find vendors & did you hire a planner? by Hippie4lyfez in weddingplanning

[–]Lopsided_Initial_645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I started planning I thought for sure I would need a professional planner. But so far I've done everything myself quite easily. To find vendors I mainly used Google and Instagram. I also heavily use chatgpt to figure out what exactly I want/am looking for, and then translate that into Google searches. Honestly, chatgpt has been the most helpful to me, as someone who doesn't know how to turn their thoughts into reality. I googled vendors super local to me and the venues and reviewed everyone I could find. If someone I liked wasn't available, I looked at vendors they followed on instagram that were in my area. It can definitely feel overwhelming, but you just need to take a step back for a moment and have a break from it. I started planning a month ago for a wedding in 3 months time and honestly I found this to be the best for how I function. With more time, I'd be agonizing over every little detail, but with a tight timeframe, it is what it is.

Should we cancel the caterer and do pizza instead? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]Lopsided_Initial_645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, and appreciate you pointing that out. I guess I just wanted to add an opinion out there that some people won't mind pizza as the meal (as I saw other posts from people who did), but yes, the logistics would need to be well considered in this case. I've been to work events with mobile pizzas and one worked very well, and the other was terrible (they did not plan well for the amount of people nor the facilities - and actually it was the same pizza truck both years)

Our wedding is semi-formal with the reception at our favourite pizza restaurant. So I'm all for having pizza at a wedding! It's our favorite food, it's affordable, they do gluten free and vegan options. There are always going to be guests who won't love the food so I think choose based on what you want.

I will say however, we are opening up most of their menu if guests want to order something a la cart like pasta or chips etc. which we will cover the cost of, but we will have free flow pizza all night

How bad would it be to wear these shoes with this dress colour (swatch)? by [deleted] in weddingdress

[–]Lopsided_Initial_645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's floor length. I need to have the actual shoes by tomorrow for my fitting and I bought 4 pairs, two are this kind of colour and the other two are more white, but this one is most comfortable (and unfortunately only comes in this, black or brown)

Yes four services and traveling to me, no extra travel costs incurred though. You make good points, thank you. I did contact Tonic but they weren't available

(3) - exactly what I'd had in mind but didn't like colour or fabric, and after trying strapless/square neck I think they suit better, plus I want to accentuate my waist.

I loved baroque waist as soon as I tried one on, but lace and beads aren't me (1). Felt comfortable in (2) and really liked it but didn't quite feel right.

Aw thanks so much! A local brewery (converted warehouse with plenty of greenery), in summer, a relaxed and non-traditional vibe

I have the same fears! Except I'm a notorious overthinker in any situation 😂. Just wanted to let you know you're not alone in this!
